Position: Wall and Floor Tiler

Position Type: Full-Time

Salary: $76,000 to $79,000 plus superannuation per annum

Location: Tarneit VIC 3029

Our client is seeking a skilled Wall and Floor Tiler to join their team located in Tarneit, Victoria.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Interpret building plans, measure and mark surfaces
• Prepare surfaces and remove old tiles
• Lay and align tiles using appropriate adhesives and tools
• Cut and shape tiles with hand or power tools
• Apply and remove grout, clean and polish finished surfaces
• Install waterproofing where required
• Maintain tools and equipment
• Follow WHS procedures and site safety rules
• Report progress and issues to Director
• Other duties as reasonably directed.

Requirements:

• Certificate III in Wall & Floor Tiling (or equivalent)
• Minimum three (3) years’ tiling experience
• Valid driver’s licence and own transport
• Ability to work independently and read plans
• Sound physical fitness and attention to detail.
