Our client, Mina Bakery & Sons, is seeking a Retail Manager to take charge of the day-to-day operations, ensuring seamless business performance and exceptional customer service.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, organisational skills, and commercial insight to drive growth and maintain the bakery’s standing within the community.
This is a full-time position (38 hours per week) based in Carramar, New South Wales.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Decide on the range of baked goods and related products to be offered, monitor inventory, and maintain appropriate stock levels to meet customer demand.
Develop purchasing and promotional strategies, set competitive pricing structures, and implement effective sales initiatives.
Lead efforts to raise the bakery’s profile through in-store promotions, community engagement, and local advertising campaigns.
Actively engage with customers, provide tailored product recommendations, and ensure a welcoming and professional retail environment.
Record and track sales, expenses, and stock movements. Prepare reports and contribute to budget planning and financial management.
Recruit, mentor, and supervise team members. Provide training to maintain service quality and foster a productive work environment.
Uphold health, safety, and food-handling standards in line with relevant regulations and ensure compliance is consistently maintained.
Streamline day-to-day operations, address issues quickly, and continuously improve systems to enhance the customer and staff experience.
Requirements:
Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management
At least two (2) years of relevant prior experience.
