Our client Champion Crash Repairs, a trusted automotive repairer in Adelaide and is seeking a skilled and motivated Motor Mechanic to join their professional team. The role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to the highest industry standards, ensuring customer satisfaction and workshop efficiency. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults in motor vehicles.
• Perform scheduled servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of vehicles.
• Test drive and conduct post-repair checks to ensure roadworthiness and compliance.
• Carry out engine, transmission, braking, suspension, and steering repairs.
• Maintain accurate service and repair records, ensuring compliance with manufacturer and company standards.
• Provide accurate estimates for repair time and costs when required.
• Ensure all work meets safety standards and complies with environmental regulations.
• Assist and mentor junior staff or apprentices when required.
• Liaise with customers professionally, explaining repair work and providing technical advice when needed.
• Maintain workshop equipment, tools, and a clean working environment.

Requirements:

• Certificate III or Higher in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology
• Minimum one (1) year of experience as a qualified Motor Mechanic, preferably in crash repair or accident-related mechanical work.
• Valid drivers licence
• Proven ability in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of mechanical and electrical issues.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced workshop environment.
