Position: Mechanical Engineer

Position Type: Full-Time

Salary: $85,000 plus superannuation per annum

Location: Narrabeen NSW 2101

Our client is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their team located in Narrabeen, New South Wales.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and assess mechanical systems, components, and equipment
• Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
• Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and performance analysis
• Oversee installation, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical equipment
• Identify faults and implement engineering solutions to improve reliability
• Ensure compliance with WHS requirements and Australian Standards
• Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and internal stakeholders
• Prepare reports and maintenance schedules

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Minimum of three (3) years of relevant work experience
• Strong understanding of mechanical design and engineering principles
• Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks or similar)
• Understanding of powder coating and other industrial surface finishing processes, including their impact on product design, manufacturability, and quality requirements
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
