Position: Construction Project Manager

Position Type: Full-Time, ongoing

Salary: $120,000 plus superannuation per annum

Location: Adelaide SA 5000

Our client is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to manage and deliver projects across various sites in Adelaide, South Australia.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plan, organise and manage construction project objectives, budgets and schedules
• Assess and interpret architectural drawings and technical specifications, and determines appropriate construction methods to use
• Develop tenders and contract bids, and negotiates with stakeholders throughout the construction process and project lifecycle
• Lead the coordination and prioritization of resources, including human resources, materials, plant and equipment, across large-scale commercial and civil construction projects
• Consult with clients, Architects, Civil Engineering Professionals, Contract Administrators, Quantity Surveyors, site managers and other personnel to plan and manage the construction process
• Manage and monitor adherence to legislation and standards of performance and safety
• Lead and manage human resources, including subcontractors, to progress and deliver construction projects
• Establish and manage project plans to ensure alignment with strategic goals and project outcomes
• Manage change and implementation of construction projects

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in relevant field
• Minimum of five (5) years’ proven experience as a Construction Project Manager
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel between project sites as required.
