Position: Childcare Worker

Position Type: Full-Time

Salary: $70,000 to $80,000 plus superannuation per annum

Location: Woodville SA 5011

Our client Woodville Little Learners is a nurturing and engaging early learning centre dedicated to providing high-quality education and care for young children. They are committed to fostering a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment where children can grow, explore, and develop essential skills for the future.

They are seeking a passionate and dedicated Childcare Worker to join their team. The ideal candidate will have at least two (2) years of experience in early childhood education, a strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), and a commitment to providing high-quality care and education for children.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that support children’s learning and development.
• Build strong, positive relationships with children, families, and team members.
• Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and EYLF.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
• Observe and document children’s progress, supporting their individual learning journeys.
• Work collaboratively as part of a team to provide high-quality education and care.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education
• Minimum two (2) years of experience in early childhood education
• Certificate in Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect (RRHAN)
• Knowledge of EYLF, NQF, and child development principles.
• Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) and First Aid Certificate (including CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
