Position Type: Full-Time

Salary: $76,515 plus superannuation per annum

Location: Sydney Olympic Park NSW 2127

Our client is seeking a skilled Chef to join their team located in Sydney Olympic Park, New South Wales, 2127

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare, cook and present a variety of dishes to a high standard
• Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff during food preparation and service
• Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with recipes
• Monitor food quality at all stages
• Manage stock levels
• Control portion sizes and minimise food waste
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and WHS regulations
• Train and mentor kitchen staff
• Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment
• Oversee kitchen operations during service periods.

Requirements:

• Certificate III or IV in relevant field
• A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in Hospitality industry.
• A valid driver’s licence is preferred as some travel between venues may be required.

Must have the ability to:

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to a consistently high standard
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Work both independently and as part of a team
• Follow recipes, menus, and kitchen procedures accurately
• Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
