Our client is seeking a Carpenter to join their team located in Caringbah, New South Wales.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Interpreting drawings and specifications to identify required materials, dimensions, and installation methods.
Selecting and ordering timber and other materials, preparing layouts, cutting components, and assembling parts using nails or fasteners.
Constructing frameworks, panel systems, roof structures, sub-flooring, and floorboards, while ensuring structures are accurate and aligned.
Installing fascia panels, roof sheathing, external cladding, and door and window frames.
Joining timber pieces and assembling pre-cut wood into structures and fittings ready for installation.
Tasks may also include constructing concrete formwork, repairing existing fittings, or working with materials such as plastic laminates, perspex, and metals.
Requirements:
A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in carpentry
Valid White Card (Construction Induction Card)
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
Valid NSW Drivers licence and reliable transport
Good time management and ability to meet deadlines.
