Position: Retail Shop Manager (Retail Manager)

Position Type: Full-Time

Salary: $75,000 to $79,000 plus superannuation per annum

Location: Bacchus Marsh VIC 3340

Our client is a well-established fruit and vegetable store committed to providing fresh, high-quality produce to their customers. We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Retail Manager to join their team and oversee daily operations, ensure excellent customer service, and drive business growth.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage daily store operations, including inventory control, stock replenishment, and supplier coordination.
• Supervise and lead a team of staff, ensuring high standards of customer service and store presentation.
• Monitor sales performance, implement promotional strategies, and maintain profit margins.
• Handle staff rostering, recruitment, and training to optimize store efficiency.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene regulations.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and customers.
• Process financial transactions, manage budgets, and ensure accurate reporting.

Requirements:

• Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, Diploma or higher qualification
• Minimum 12 months of experience as a Retail Manager
• Must have prior experience in a fruit and vegetable store
• Strong leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Knowledge of inventory management, stock rotation, and waste minimization.
• Proficiency in retail sales, pricing strategies, and promotional planning.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to seasonal demand.
