Position: Painting Trades Worker

Our client Southern Hemisphere Construction is seeking an experienced Painter to join their team on a home unit construction project in the Craigieburn region. The successful candidate will be responsible for all interior and exterior painting works, ensuring high-quality finishes and compliance with Australian construction standards and safety regulations.

Working Conditions
Hours of Work:
38 hours per week (Monday to Friday). Additional hours may be required to meet project deadlines, with appropriate compensation provided as per the applicable enterprise agreement or contract terms.
Physical Requirements:
This position requires the ability to work at heights, lift items up to 25kg regularly, bend, kneel, and maintain physical stamina throughout the working day. Good vision and colour perception are essential for quality finishing work.
Work Environment:
The role involves working on construction sites in both indoor and outdoor environments. Workers are exposed to paint fumes, dust, and other construction-related hazards. Full compliance with site safety requirements and use of personal protective equipment is mandatory.
Travel:
The position may require occasional travel to different project sites within the Melbourne metropolitan area.
Remuneration & Benefits
Salary Package:
Competitive remuneration commensurate with qualifications and experience, in accordance with the applicable award and Australian employment law. Minimum remuneration will meet or exceed the rates specified in the Construction, Forestry, Maritime, Mining and Energy Union (CFMEU) Enterprise Agreement or relevant modern award.
