Salary: $74,000 to $80,000 plus superannuation per annum

Our client is seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift driver to join their team located in Shepparton.

As a Forklift Driver you will play a crucial role in the warehouse operations, including loading/unloading of goods, organizing inventory, and preparing goods for dispatch. This role requires attention to detail and adherence to safety and food storage protocols in a fast-paced dairy production environment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts to move, stack, and store dairy products in a cold storage environment.
• Load and unload delivery trucks efficiently and safely.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory movement using warehouse management systems.
• Conduct routine forklift safety checks and report maintenance issues.
• Adhere to WHS and HACCP food safety standards in storage and handling.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure timely dispatch and receiving of goods.
• Organize and maintain cleanliness and safety in the storage area.

Requirements:

• Current LF (Forklift) Licence
• Minimum of 1–2 years’ experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or cold storage setting
• Experience with pallet jacks, reach trucks, and high-reach forklifts
• Familiarity with inventory and stock control processes
• Understanding of food safety handling requirements.
