Our client is seeking a skilled Fitter to join their team located in Moore Park Beach, Bundaberg.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Servicing and maintenance of equipment, and diagnosing problems
Making conclusions for materials, operation sequences and machine setting based on drawings and specifications
Assembling and fitting metals parts into products
Analysing metal parts
Performing routine inspections and preventative maintenance of equipment
Fitting mechanical and electrical parts.
Requirements:
AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV or overseas equivalent in in heavy plant maintenance, or diesel fitting, or fitting and turning, diesel engineer, diesel mechanic or a combination of such.
At least three (3) years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications listed above. In some instances, relevant experience and/or on-the-job training may be required in addition to the formal qualification.
A minimum of three (3) years’ relevant experience as a Fitter.
