Salary: $77,000 to $80,000 plus superannuation per annum

Our client is seeking a skilled Baker to join their team located in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane Queensland.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare a variety of artisan breads, pastries, and baked goods following traditional and/or specialty recipes;
Operate and maintain baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, proofers, and dough sheeters safely and efficiently;
Monitor baking processes, including fermentation, proofing, baking times, and temperatures, to ensure optimal product quality;
Ensure consistency in taste, appearance, and texture of all baked goods by following standard procedures and techniques;
Adjust recipes and techniques as needed based on seasonal ingredients, customer feedback, or production demands;
Maintain a clean and organised workstation, adhering to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times;
Collaborate with other team members, including pastry cooks, and front-of-house staff, to ensure smooth daily operations;
Maintain accurate records of baking ingredients and supplies, notifying management when reorders are needed or shortages occur.
Required Qualifications
At least one of the following:
AQF (or equivalent) Certificate III including at least two (2) years of on-the-job training;
AQF (or equivalent) Certificate IV; or
At least three (3) years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualification.
Required Experience
A minimum of three (3) years of relevant full-time (or equivalent part-time) experience as a baker in a large organisation within the last five (5) calendar years.
