Position: Financial Investment Advisor (Senior Para Planner)
Position Type: Full-Time
Salary: $115,000 to $125,000 plus superannuation per annum
Location: Woden ACT 2606
Our client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented financial investment advisor to join their team in Woden, ACT with responsibilities that also involve working across both the ACT and NSW regions. In this role you will be assisting financial advisors in creating financial plans for clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial planning concepts and be able to work collaboratively with advisors to provide exceptional service to clients.
The role
Develop leading strategies that are in the clients’ best interest.
Develop accurate and succinct holistic Statements of Advice and Records of Advice
Assist in the compliance and technical training for staff at regular monthly meetings and as required when legislation changes
Consistently looking for process improvement and best practice solutions
Research products, strategies and technical issues to ensure knowledge is kept current
The ability to provide financial modelling to compare financial scenarios for clients
Research and obtain information from product providers to ensure we continue to act in our client’s best interest.
Research replacement products for recommendation
Management of client portfolios
Work with the client services and implementation teams to ensure proficient execution of advice strategies
Other duties as required.
Requirements:
Minimum bachelor degree in business, business administration, finance, accounting, or related field
Minimum Diploma in financial planning or paraplanning
At least six (6) years of experience in financial planning or related field
Strong understanding of financial planning concepts and investment products
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work collaboratively with advisors and clients
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
