Our client that manufactures a variety of structural steel and stainless steel projects are seeking an experienced full-time steel detailer to join their team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare workshop drawings, plans and designs
Create models and 3D drawings using TEKLA
Monitor current and future projects
Estimate material costs and quantities
Ensure that designs are finished work are within specifications and regulations.
Requirements:
Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma qualification
Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience as a Steel Detailer
Previous experience in the steel industry is required
Experience in the latest version of the TEKLA drafting software
Experience in professional steel detailing environment preferred
