Position Type: Full-Time

Salary: $80,000 to $90,000 plus superannuation per annum

Location: Bankstown NSW 2200

Our client is a Sydney-based recruitment firm delivering innovative staffing and workforce management solutions across diverse industries, including construction, warehousing, and IT. We are currently seeking a highly motivated ICT Customer Support Officer to join our internal IT division and play a key role in supporting, maintaining, and improving our digital platforms and client systems.

Position Summary:

The successful candidate will provide high-level technical support for internal teams and external clients, troubleshoot software/hardware issues, manage cloud platform integrations, and contribute to the ongoing development of internal IT solutions and tools.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day ICT support to end-users across internal departments and clients.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to software applications, hardware, networks, and cloud systems.
• Assist in the development, implementation, and integration of customised backend solutions and reporting systems.
• Liaise with third-party service providers for system integrations and external platform support.
• Document technical procedures and solutions using tools such as Swagger and internal knowledge bases.
• Conduct system tests and provide user training where needed.
• Maintain and monitor systems to ensure optimal performance and data integrity
• Assist with onboarding, system configuration, and user permissions management.

Skills and Experience Required:

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in ICT support or software development roles.
• Proven experience with Java, SQL, APIs, and backend systems integration.
• Understanding of cloud platforms, data reconciliation, and BI/reporting tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise support requests in a dynamic environment.

Highly Regarded:

• Experience supporting or customising ERP and HR platforms
• Exposure to hospitality or staffing industry platforms such as Adyen, Staah, or Daily-Point.
• Experience in documenting APIs and services using Swagger or similar tools.
