Position Type: Full-Time

Salary: $82,000 plus superannuation per annum

Location: Alfords Point NSW 2234

Our client is seeking an experienced Fleet Manager to join their team in Alfords Point, New South Wales.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Organise the purchase, allocation, maintenance, and servicing of transport vehicles, equipment, and fuel supplies.
• Liaise with clients to understand transport requirements and provide advice regarding vehicle options, purchase or hire arrangements, rates, and obligations.
• Handle customer enquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally.
• Receive transport orders and bookings, and plan and implement efficient transportation schedules.
• Coordinate the collection and delivery of vehicles and goods.
• Ensure goods are stored, handled, and transported under suitable conditions to maintain quality.
• Maintain accurate business records and prepare operational reports and statements.
• Coordinate activities related to vehicle arrivals, departures, loading, and unloading operations.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Monitor fleet performance, costs, and operational efficiency.

Requirements:

• AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, Diploma or higher qualification
• At least three (3) years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications listed
• A minimum of three (3) years of prior experience as a Fleet Manager
• Experience in fleet management, transport operations, logistics, or related industries.
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance, scheduling, and transport compliance requirements.
• Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage customer relationships, suppliers, and operational priorities.
