We are seeking a skilled and experienced Baker to join their team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and baking a wide range of bread and pastry products while maintaining high standards of quality, hygiene and efficiency.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Preparing, mixing, kneading, and shaping dough for bread, rolls, and other baked goods
• Measuring and combining ingredients according to recipes and production schedules
• Operating baking equipment including mixers, ovens, and proofers
• Monitoring baking times and oven temperatures to ensure product consistency
• Decorating and finishing baked goods where required
• Maintaining high standards of food safety and workplace hygiene
• Managing stock levels and ordering ingredients as needed
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
• Contributing to new product development and seasonal menu items

Requirements:

Qualifications

• Relevant Baker Certificate preferred (e.g., Certificate III in Baking or equivalent)

Skills and Experience

• Minimum three (3) years of full-time experience as a Baker
• Strong knowledge of baking techniques, dough fermentation, and pastry production
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays as required
• Good communication and teamwork skills
