Position: Motor Mechanic

Position Type: Full-Time

Salary: $72,000 to $82,000 plus superannuation per annum

Location: Minto NSW 2566

Our client is seeking a full-time Motor Mechanic to maintain and repair its vehicle fleet located in Minto, New South Wales.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment.
• Dismantle, inspect, repair and replace engines, transmissions, steering systems and other vehicle components.
• Perform scheduled servicing, including oil changes, lubrication and engine tune-ups.
• Reassemble, test and adjust repaired engines and mechanical components.
• Inspect vehicles and identify repairs required to maintain safety and roadworthiness.
• Respond to vehicle breakdowns and carry out repairs as required.
• Maintain accurate service and repair records.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements

Requirements:

• Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology
• Minimum five (5) years’ experience as a Motor Mechanic.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to use computerised diagnostic equipment and technical service manuals.
• Strong fault-finding, problem-solving and mechanical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to workplace safety and maintaining vehicles to a high standard.
