Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join their team located in New Farm, Brisbane Queensland.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring high standards of service and food quality.
• Lead, inspire, and manage a diverse team, fostering a positive work environment and promoting professional development.
• Develop and implement effective strategies to drive sales, increase profitability, and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Curate and manage the menu offerings, ensuring seasonal and high-quality produce is consistently available.
• Monitor financial performance and manage budgets, forecasts, and expenses to achieve financial targets.
• Engage with guests to build relationships and gather feedback, ensuring their experience exceeds expectations.
• Stay updated on industry trends and implement innovative practices to keep our restaurant at the forefront of the market.

Requirements:

• An associate degree, Advanced Diploma, Diploma or higher qualification.
• At least three (3) years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications listed
• A minimum of 12 months proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar leadership role within a restaurant environment
• A minimum of 2 years working within the hospitality industry
• Strong knowledge of food, beverage, and wine, particularly with cocktails
• Prior experience at a seafood restaurant would be highly regarded
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with staff and guests alike.
• Demonstrated ability to drive business results and manage financial performance.
• A passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
• Relevant certifications in food safety and liquor licensing are preferred
