Salary: $75,000 to $85,000 plus superannuation per annum

Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Retail Store Manager to lead the operations of their IGA store located in Westmeadows, Victoria. This role requires hands-on leadership to ensure smooth daily operations, effective team management, inventory control, and exceptional customer satisfaction.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of daily store operations including sales, staffing, stock control, and resource management
Lead, train, and motivate team members to deliver excellent customer service and achieve store goals
Prepare store budgets and manage expenses effectively
Plan and execute local marketing, advertising, and promotional activities
Set pricing strategies and purchasing guidelines in line with market trends and store goals
Maintain accurate records of inventory, supply levels, and stock movement
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
Build and maintain positive customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and loyalty
Provide regular performance and financial reports to support informed decision-making by the business owner
Act as a role model for staff and promote a productive and customer-focused work environment.
Requirements:
Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in Retail, Business, Hospitality or related field
Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Retail Store Manager within a supermarket setting is essential
Prior experience leading an IGA Supermarket team would be highly regarded
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Solid understanding of retail operations, budgeting, marketing, and stock management
Proficiency in POS systems and Microsoft Office
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
