Our client is seeking an experienced Product Sales Specialist to join their team located in Sydney, New South Wales.

As a  Product Sales Specialist you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth by leveraging technical expertise to understand and meet the unique needs of the clients. This role involves building and maintaining strong client relationships, providing technical solutions, and effectively communicating the value of products/services.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Customer Relationship Management:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Understand client needs and offer tailored technical solutions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support.
• Product Knowledge and Expertise:
  • Stay updated on company products, services, and industry trends.
  • Demonstrate in-depth technical knowledge to effectively communicate product benefits and features to clients.
  • Showcase excellence in positioning the product in new markets.
• Sales and Business Development:
  • Identify new business opportunities and potential clients.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Formulate strategies to identify, structure, and negotiate new business opportunities domestically and globally (Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, and Philippines).
  • Create a sales pipeline by identifying local buyers (OEMs, Partners, and Distributors) and supplying the product locally.
• Marketing and Advertisement Management:
  • Manage trend spend by effectively forecasting and controlling advertisements as well as promotion budgets.
  • Devise marketing materials and communication strategies for senior management, including assisting in the delivery of presentations.
  • Execute sales promotional activities for brand building for new and existing market development.
• Team Leadership and Management:
  • Lead a professional Sales Team to ensure achievement of revenue targets, operational goals, customer satisfaction, and individuals’ career objectives.
  • Administer business planning and performance management of channel partners, including development and execution of sales plans, and hosting of constructive meetings.
  • Head a team in Indonesia, Australia & Bangkok focusing on growing sales and fulfilling admin and supply chain.
• Logistics and Supply Chain Coordination:
  • Identify cost-effective logistic solutions with warehouse and local distribution.
  • Function with suppliers, sales management, logistics, and finance teams to develop the annual brand plans.
  • Observe operations of the engineering team to ensure optimum utilization of onsite teams and timely completion of projects.
• Feedback and Issue Handling:
  • Follow up with customers and obtain feedback, including handling and managing customer complaints.
  • Perform dry runs of brand activities to executive team (Functional Directors and Area Directors) and each regional sales team, ensuring clear downstream communications and timely implementation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and/or Business
• Proven experience in technical sales or a related field.
• Strong understanding of energy products like UPS (Uninterrupted power supply) and attached batteries to the same
• Proficiency in English and Hindi to speak to the local team based in India for technical support
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships.
• Results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Travel Requirements: This position may require up to 30% domestic and international travel to meet with clients, attend industry conferences, and participate in training sessions.
• Specific Software Proficiency: Proficiency in software applications such as [SQL], essential for success in this role.
• Industry Regulations and Compliance: Familiarity and experience in ensuring adherence to industry-specific guidelines is highly valued.
